Guidelines for Tournament Directors and
Players of Return to Farpoint

This tournament series will run from February 15 through May 30, 1999 only.

Each tournament will be run and reported according to Star Trek CCG Official Tournament guide.

Results of each tournament count towards each player's personal Star Trek CCG Sanctioned Swiss rating.

The Return to Farpoint tournament scenarios will not be legal for any Qualification tournaments related to the 1999 StarTrek CCG World Championship, even though Stage Five events include all cards published to date in the Star Trek CCG Universe. An event can be either a Stage Five tournament or a World qualifying event, but not both.

Tournament directors may choose to host one, or more, or all five of the five Stages of the tournament series, but, they must hold each event by the appropriate stage's deadline.

If a director hosts more than one series event, she or he must host the event in order. For example, it's ok to host just a Stage 1 and a Stage 3 tournament, but the Stage 1 tournament must precede Stage 3.

Here is important information defining each of the five stages of the Return to Farpoint tournament series, including event "hold by" deadlines, and the card products and expansions to be used in each.
