Starfleet Tactical Responds ... Johnathan Rice ... 03.20-17:49 |
I begin with a quote:
"Commanders sitting behind the front lose touch with the real battle that's being fought. They become too optimistic; decisions are made which have no bearing on what the facts of the battle may be. And this is more true if the war is being lost..." Now, I have been a stccg player and collector for seven years (since WB premier). I have seen the game change, stagnate, re-energize, stall, re-energize again, and grow. Through thick and thin, I have tried to stay with a game I so loved, because it was different, and it enjoyed its difference. Over the last year, I have seen some drastic changes in the game itself, some good, some not-so-good. I am not sure if I like this change, especially since this may turn the game into a situation that made me leave another popular card game because the tournament scene was not about having fun at any point (but with dollars at stake, many people go bonkers). I'm standing on the sidelines for this one out of respect of the game which I have loved for a long time, but it looks like I'm going to have change my plans yet again (bummer). But enough of a diplomatic rant. Channel Closed Commander Johnathan Rice Starfleet Tactical Division |
