Uxbridging the Supernova does not bring the mission back. Once Supernova resolves, the mission is destroyed in a one-time action. Nullifying the Supernova later is similar to nullifying Red Alert! after your opponent has reported half of Starfleet - the action can't be undone. Currently, the only way to reverse the Supernova and get the mission back is Persistance Of Memory.
