Mark your calendars now - Hard Drive Gaming Center will be hosting the West Texas Open Championship for the Star Trek Collectable Card Game on Saturday, 15 June 2002.

The tournament format will be a Constructed Deck format with a "Final Confrontation" after the normal rounds between the top two finishers. This will detemine who is the "Champion" - and may not be the person with the highest score during the normal rounds!

The Open Championships replace the old "State" tournaments, however, as the name implies, these tournaments are now open to all players - even those outside Texas. So the West Texas Open Champion could be a player from Oklahoma or New Mexico - or Germany!!

There will be a $15 entry fee - more expensive than we normally charge, but Hard Drive has to recoup the cost to host this event.

- 1st place gets - Star Trek CCG Trophy Binder, Bye into Day 2 of the Continental Championship, Bye into Day 2 of the World Championship

- 2nd place - Star Trek CCG Trophy Binder, Bye into Day 2 of the Continental Championship.

- Other prizes donated by Hard Drive and myself will include a Future Enterprise!!

Registration begins at 11 am, and the pairings will begin at 12:15 for a 12:30 start time. Remember, deck lists WILL be required and must be completed before the pairings. Blank decklist forms will be available, but you are responsible for filling them out in time!
