We had a long discussion over this card recently. I re-read over the tip in the HTML cardlist and I think the card works this way, but want to be sure:

Let's say I have a Fed away team on a planet, with 7of9 on ship in orbit at that location.

The away team attempts the mission - the first dilemma kills Ensign Redshirt. The second dilemma stops the away team.

Now that the mission attempt is over, I play Nanoprobes and pull Ensign Redshirt back to my hand - or if I choose to, I can return him to 7of9's location on the ship. Correct?

Also, if I do report Ensign RedShirt to 7of9's location, he can beam down and re-attempt the mission solo or as part of another away team.
Right?
