Re: Question on the darn new android rule/Cybernetics/Exocomp... ... Major Rakal ... [1/25/00 21:56] |
>OK. As I interpret it, the skill Cybernetics allows an android to report for free to that location once per turn per level of Cybernetics present. Correct?
> >If so, this would allow an Exocomp or Commander Data to report there for free once per turn, correct? Yes. The Cybernetics rule specifies "android", not "Soong-type android", so any personnel who qualifies as an android (which now includes Commander Data and exocomps) can be reported for free if you have Cybernetics present. Just a clarification--the Cybernetics skill does not allow you to report an android *to his location*--that is, you cannot report the android anyplace that you could not normally report him. You must report the android wherever you are allowed to report a personnel (such as an outpost), and if you have Cybernetics present (that is, aboard the outpost; being at the same location is not good enough), then he reports for free. >How do Exocomps work with damage markers? Also, do multiple Exocomps repair faster than just one Exocomp? Exocomps still work exactly like the card says. At the end of two full turns with an Exocomp aboard, the ship becomes fully repaired and you remove all markers at once. You do not remove a damage marker each turn (that is a rule for repairs at an outpost or Docking Pylons, not card text). And no, multiple Exocomps don't repair it faster.
