Official Tournament Sealed Deck
Rules Notes On Selected Premium Cards
This Official Tournament Sealed Deck contains twenty new black-border premium cards which have been created to jump-start your deck strategy. They are also carefully designed to help level the playing field of a sealed-deck tournament, while providing fascinating gameplay both in other tournament formats and in casual play.
Husnock Outpost
Just like a Non-Aligned ship, this outpost works with only one affiliation
at a time (plus Non-Aligned and Neutral cards), except under a treaty.
The Husnock Outpost differs from most other outposts in that you may
seed more than one, but you may not build any additional ones during
the game (remember, in Star Trek, there are no Husnock left to build
them!).
Spacedoor
When you return an empty ship to hand, all cards on it (such as events)
are discarded. If this doorway is closed by another card, such as Revolving
Door, do not flip over the Spacedoor.
Impose Order
After this unusual mission has been solved, non-Borg players can "steal"
its points back and forth from each other (just slide the Mission card
toward whomever stole the points last).
Explore Interstellar Matter
When you use this mission to play a card "for free," that card does
not use up your normal card play. If you have more than one copy of
Explore Interstellar Matter on table when you play Calamarain, your
opponent may start your Calamarain at any one of those missions.
Investigate Incursion
This mission is worth extra points if an appropriate Borg-related card
happens to be at that spaceline location when the mission is solved.
Thus, if a Borg Ship dilemma was seeded there but has already moved
away, that dilemma does not increase the points for solving the mission.
Reflection Therapy
This objective can change a skill on just about any personnel - yours
or your opponent's - if you can get your Treachery personnel physically
present with the intended victim.
Hide and Seek
This versatile Q-icon dilemma/event can be used in three different ways:
- Seed it directly under a mission like a normal dilemma (this is
your best bet in sealed deck play).
- Seed it face down on the table as a "hidden agenda" event.
- For maximum economy and flexibility, stock one or more copies in
your Q-Continuum side deck; whenever your opponent faces one, you
get to decide on the spot whether it's a dilemma or an event!
