BEHIND THE SCENES Warren's online teaser about ships "linked in an unusual way" led to rampant speculation, but noone could've foreseen the triple "links" of art, nemesis icons and gameplay tie-ins to other ships. The Pasteur is the only ship with a built-in skill, and the only one to match the Future Enterprise's enviable RANGE of 13. The Pasteur is much weaker than the Chang in both WEAPONS and SHIELDS, but the nemesis icon and her superior RANGE combine to create an interesting tactical advantage in some situations. The two ships are forever linked by a disruptor blast enhanced with a touch plate of yellow ink. As described in the behind-the-scenes notes for Locutus, this "connection" could be achieved only in a special set like Fajo.
