| Saturday, November 13, 1999 - Decipher Inc. of Norfolk,
Virginia announced today that it has signed a broad, long-term agreement with
Viacom Consumer Products to expand its license for the Star Trek Customizable
Card Game. Among other things, the new agreement grants Decipher rights
to all the live-action Star Trek properties missing from its previous license.
Such properties include the Original Series, the first seven Star Trek feature
films. Decipher also gets rights to a host of ancillary and support products,
including the long-awaited ability to launch a graphic "Palace" chat site in support
of the games. All Decipher's existing rights, including those in The Next Generation™,
Deep Space Nine™, Voyager™ etc. are extended through the new contract
term. The new deal includes the right for Decipher to develop on-line
playable versions of its Star Trek Customizable Card Games. Decipher will host
the playable site and expect the new product to be available within a year.
