Espionage: Bajoran on Cardassian
by Kathy McCracken
A particular mission would be perfect for your new deck theme, but it doesn't have the icon for your favorite affiliation. Or maybe your opponent seeds a mission that you just happen to have the skills to solve, but again, the affiliation is wrong. What you need is an Espionage card.
While they don't exist in every combination (in particular, no one has an Espionage card against the Romulans, while the Romulans have Espionage cards against every other affiliation), if your affiliation can spy on any of the others, it's worth having one or two of the most likely ones in your Q's Tent. Choose your dilemmas carefully for your opponent's mission (and remember what you seed there!), play your Espionage card, and net an easy 30-35 points average while depriving your opponent of a mission he may have been counting on--maybe even an artifact.
Espionage: Bajoran on Cardassian has a special touch. It plays for free if you have a Resistance personnel at the mission. With seven personnel to choose from to supply that vital skill, you won't even have to waste a card play to steal that Cardassian mission.
Combo:
Espionage: Bajoran on Cardassian + Alter Records: If you're not interested in captives, an easy alternative to HQ: Secure Homeworld.
