Regions of Space

Missions identified in their lore as being from the same region of space must be placed or inserted next to each other during the mission seed phase. Any other location cards that state they belong to a particular region must be inserted in that region when seeded or played. Regional missions prior to Deep Space Nine are defined in the rules (The Neutral Zone Region and the Sector 001 Region); the missions now have revised lore which will appear on any reprints. Regional missions from Deep Space Nine and later sets are clearly labelled in their lore with a region name.
