I Have A Plan
From Hauke Fischer
July 1997

About the deck: This is the deck that i used to win the tournament at last year's KingCon at Flensburg. (If you wonder why you can't find Flensburg on the map, it's the northernmost town of Germany). Since then it has been through many changes, (adding cards from Q-Continuum, the Two-Player Game and Star Trek CCG First Anthology) but until now it has not been beaten.

PLAYING THE DECK

Space line: Try to get the Study Nebula Mission to lie at one end of the Spaceline and Explore Dyson Sphere a bit from the other end and any Space Mission you can attempt at the same end as EDS. Get Reunion close to Study Nebula.

Seeding Dilemmas, Artifacts and Outpost: The Dilemmas are combos either forcing your opponent to abandon the mission or use many personnel and run into a big Q-Flash. The last three Dilemmas combine as a "Secret Mission In Two Parts": Seed the Cytherians at last under the Mission at the end of the Spaceline, and BPD and CSF under Study Nebula. Seed The sattelite under Explore Dyson Sphere.

THE PERFECT GAME

You solve EDS get the personnel and the Gift Box. Search your Deck in the following order:
Future Enterprise, Q's Tent, Dr.Reyga, Tasha Yar-Alternate, Marouk. (Points: 35 (40 if Rager or Mordock was present, 45 if both))

(If you fetch Personnel wait a turn and play them first.)

Take the Future Enterprise to the Mission with Cytherians and attempt it. since you seeded them last, you will encounter them before anything else could harm you. Use Lakanta to get to the other end and score the points. (Points 50/55/60)

Fly to study Nebula. Don't cloak! Use the Q's Tent and fetch you Outpost. End turn.If your opponent should try to attack you, use Ensign Tuvok's ability to prevent him from this.

Next turn (should be the last):Build your Outpost, attempt Study Nebula. (Points: 100/105/115) If you have lost some points try to solve Reunion.

The Tent:The Tent contains one vital card for your deck: The Outpost. The other cards are for emergencies only.

Finish:I hope this deck will work as good for you as it did for me.
