What This Deck Is Designed To Do (And What It Accomplishes):

This deck is quite versatile (and should be with a 60 card draw deck). It's designed to do a number of things. Its primary intent is to complete missions - a rare thing these days, I know - but that's what it is supposed to do.

The dilemmas are designed to hurt your opponent and help you. When I was testing this deck, an opponent played First Contact, duplicating my own. I stuck my four card combo of Edo Probe+Lack of Preparation+Q-Flash +Cardassian Trap down there. Not only did he not have a Q-Flash (so I was safe) but Deanna Troi passed Lack Of Prep and Cardassian Trap, and completed the Diplomacy and Empathy mission herself.

I constantly find myself able to pass many of my combos (like the one mentioned above) while my opponent gets scared off. With Q-Flash highly underrated and under used, it's a good "safe" card when stealing my opponent's missions. In other games, I find myself switching to Commander Troi for the anthropology, the diplomacy, and the nifty AU symbol (another personnel to drop!), making both ships droppable.

It's also adaptable in that I can do the same mission by dropping my Pasteur, or my Enterprise-C with crew, down to the spaceline to attempt the mission. (This also comes inhandy when expecting battles or needing a ship to take the place of the one destroyed by a Borg ship dilemma! Its Ready Room Doors give me quick downloadable ability to the Captain's orders which go nicely with my Enterprise-C or U.S.S. Pasteur. If I don't have the full AU crew in hand, I drop the ship and download whatever captain I need (using the other two for protection of nullification!). Can you picture the U.S.S. Pasteur with Beverly Picard, Rachel Garrett, and Tasha-Yar Alternate cruising down the spaceline in a 15-9-10? I bet you can! (And what a sweet thought at that!)

The Hidden Agendas allow me to catch that "late in the game" Q's Tent or Kivas Fajo I might need. Regenerates recycle the deck in case the crew gets wiped out with Q2's to back up the regenerates.

Against a non-counter deck this deck can cycle quite fast with the 3 Travelers, 3 Palor Toff's and 3 Kivas Fajo's! Some of the prized cards in this deck are Vash (my handle!-who not only rocks with archaeology but can pass primitive culture on her own!), Tainer and Lal (for that nifty outpost saver the Paxan "Wormhole"), and of course, Spot! I can't tell you how many times I've Devidian Door-ed Spot to a colony or an ore processing unit to shut it down. (And as a determined female-she counts!) Or I'll Devidian Door Rachel Garrett or another Engineer to a planet to build that long awaited outpost if it got blown up before.

To top it off, if I think I'm facing an armada I simply play my neutral outpost to the Paxan Wormhole and send a ship with an android on over! Go ahead, try and blow that up! You got enough Soong-Type Androids in your deck for that trick? Martok! Now if only they'd make an AU Android. I'd be set! (Just wait until they rule you can report ships docked to an outpost there and not have them relocated!)

With half the tent downloadable and 1/4 of the crew droppable on a ship with STP you'd be amazed how you can get around the spaceline. It may not be world championship worthy, but this deck is F-U-N-FUN!

It's time the girls of the United Federation of Planets hold their heads up high and go pllllllllb-We Rule! You Drool! :)

So have fun girls, show 'em what you're made of, and keep on trekkin'!

Sheri aka Vash
