Hi all,
I know a lot of people have had problems with the previous version of my Deck Designer program . As some of you already know, I am working hard on 4.0 which won’t give all these problems anymore. Because I’m rewriting the whole program, it will take some time to get all the functionality of the previous versions back in. To shorten this ‘waiting’ period, I will release a series of beta releases for version 4.0. These versions won’t have all the functionality yet. Some weeks ago I released the first beta version. The only purpose of this version was to see if the problems of the previous versions were eliminated. It now seems they are and today I have published 4.0 beta 2 on my site. It has the following functionality: - creating decks - saving decks - loading decks - writing deck listings (Note for current users: Decks, combos and inventories are no longer kept inside the database.) Upcoming versions will include: - Card details - Inventories - Smarter card lists (e.g. only showing the proper affiliations etc.) - Print/Preview - Card list options - Notes/Strategy etc. - Deck Totals/Statistics - Deck compiler …and of course Blaze of Glory! For users who have no problems with 3.0.1 it might be better to wait a few beta releases before downloading.
