Strategy
First turn. Play either 3 Awakens and a drone from hand, or 2 Awakens
and the Borg Queen, then download Seven of Nine,
the Survey Drone, and Transwarp Drone, with either the extra Awaken, or at the end of the turn,
with the Borg Qeen. Here's how to staff the cube first turn.
Staffing is follows...
Seven of Nine and the Survey Drone staff the 1 blue, 2 green and 1 red. The seeded
drone and other 2 Awakens or Borg Queen and download of a drone at the end of
my turn will cover the other 3 spots.
Second turn. In place of a card play, I use Spacedoor to download
a Borg Cube. In place of a card draw, download a gateway with
the Transwarp Drone.
Third turn. Special download a gateway to the Borg Outpost and
play the downloaded gateway. Cube in the alpha quadrant 3rd turn - that's without
the lucky draw of a gateway in the opening hand.
Once in the alpha quadrant go to the nearest opponent's space mission where I
seeded Radioactive Garbage Scow and the Cryosatellite
with Gowron of Borg and the Orb of Prophecy and
Change. Scouting should only take one turn. Draw or download (with Borg queen)
2 card draws (since no cards were played, Seven of Nine allows 2 card draws).
Fourth turn. Probe (by making all drones in the draw deck either Blue subcommand
or all 3 subcommands probing opportunities are greatly increased). That's 25 points
and the ability to download an Assimilate Homeworld. With the
Survey Drone acquire Gowron and The Orb.
Move to Qo'nos. This may take up to 2 turns, but the deck is already on its way,
by using the Orb at the end of every turn, as well as using any Awakens that are
acquired. The deck pretty much runs itself from there.
